• Technical support in preparing studies (knowledge, attitudes and practice; cohorts) to evaluate project performance, particularly to ascertain the extent of adoption of practices related to use of improved stoves, in order to learn from the experience and guide corrective measures.
• Technical support concerning the project’s Monitoring and Learning System, taking into account and analysing the gender dimension: depending on the baselines and situational analysis conducted, revision and finalization of the system, tools and indicators in place, particularly the forms for assessing the efficiency of the improved stoves, in co-operation with two assistants responsible for monitoring and learning in the field.
• Annual missions to the project area to monitor the project’s progress in the field and promote collective thinking and capitalization of experience.
• Liaising with businesses producing improved stoves suited to the target group’s needs.
