Geres ambition is to engage businesses in a process of improving their practices to reduce their impact on the climate. The aim is also to influence their employees and stakeholders with regard to their activities, encouraging them to change their day-to-day behavior.

Sponsored and facilitated by Geres, the Community for climate solidarity brings together governments and local authorities, associations, businesses and citizens.

Our ambition is to support our partners in carrying out and promoting their climate-friendly activities and to share good practice while creating new synergies.

When you join the Community for Climate Solidarity, you undertake specifically to:

Reduce your impacts on the climate by adopting measures which contribute to carbon neutrality and a sustainable development approach appropriate to your organization.
Support Geres work in favour of the energy transition in France and internationally.
Mobilize your associates, consumers and, more generally, citizens through advocacy campaigns and mobilization processes.

By signing up to our ethical framework and meeting the requirements laid down by Geres, you may acquire the status of partner “Committed to Climate Solidarity“.

Commitment to Climate Solidarity means that you stand alongside Geres in the energy transition, by reducing your own and your stakeholders’ carbon footprint and supporting the most vulnerable people on their path towards sustainable development and climate change adaptation.

When you commit to Climate Solidarity, your approach is acknowledged by Geres, because it is part of the dynamics of sustainable development and contributes to the fight against climate change.

Geres, a trustworthy partner

Keen to build a long-term relationship of trust with its partners, Geres is committed to a quality and transparency approach.

In 2019, Geres obtained the IDEAS label for the second time, rewarding the quality of our governance, financial management and monitoring of the effectiveness of our activities. More than 80% of Geres funds go directly to our work in the field. The accounts are regularly audited and may be consulted on our Transparency page.

Your contribution to Geres entitles you to 60% tax relief on up to 0.5% of your turnover (in France).
