The Empowermed project enhanced by a school of design and communication in Aix-en-Provence
Thanks to a fruitful partnership with ESDAC (Higher School of Design, Communication and Applied Arts in Aix-en-Provence), the Empowermed Project, dedicated to reducing energy poverty and specifically focused on women and health around the Mediterranean, has now a strong visual identity, dynamic and accessible to all. A big thank you to the talented students and congratulations to the winning team!
The 4-year solidarity project (2019-2023), led by seven European partners (Geres, SOGESCA Srl, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Enginyeria Sense Fronteres, WECF International, Milieukontakt Albania and Focus društvo za sonaraven razvoj), is aimed at operating along two main lines, including gender:
- Empowering Families in energy poverty to reduce their consumption and improve their comfort
- Evaluating the effectiveness and the impact of solutions implemented to formulate public policy recommendations
In order to align internal and external communication between the various project stakeholders, Geres has called on four student groups specialized in design and communication. Each one of them was very eager to contribute to a responsible communication project.
Within only a week, the students created a graphic charter attuned to values and issues of the Empowermed project.
Among the 8 proposals, one especially caught the partners’s attention thanks to the highlighting of the concept of habitat and heat flows, particularly well-illustrated on the logo and the different supports chosen.
Once again, Geres and the Empowermed partners would like to warmly thank all the students as well as the winning team (Estelle Berard, Virginie Estrella, Elisa Fix, Charline Gontier et Flore Hervy) for their wonderful involvement, enthusiasm and the quality of their work.
